It's September 1st! Lots of new happenings today.


2022 BCCR is release


First, we start with the BCCR for 2022. Yes, there are some changes. Please watch the video, then review the BCCR.

The 2022 BCCR goes into effect on January 1, 2022.

Michael Chisek - Resigned September 1, 2021


The terms for Bruce Mills (Vice President) #010222, Jerry Enger #000282, end on December 31st of this year. Michael Chisek submitted his resignation from the BOD. Their seats are the ones up for re-election and when filled will serve until December 31st, 2023. Bruce Mills and Jerry Enger are eligible to run again and can be nominated like any other member.

 

Fill out your name and member number. Then at the bottom, fill out the name and member number of the person you'd like to nominate to the Board of Directors. Keep in mind that we will contact each nominee to make sure they are OK with being a candidate. 


Simple rules:

1. You can't nominate yourself.

2. You can only nominate one person.


All nominations are due by Friday, October 15th. To keep from having 351 different nominees, a nominee must be named by at least five members to qualify. We will compile all the nominations and put the top ten nominees on the November 1st ballot. Elections are over on December 1st, 2021. We will announce the winners on December 15th, 2021, and the three winners will take office on January 1, 2023.

2023 Road Atlanta Impound Report Date: 2/4/2023 Car Number:  176 Event: Road Atlanta Team Name:  JSK Racing Event Director: Dana Morrison Team Captain: Tech Inspector: Ray Franck     Protest Details:     At the conclusion of the 2023 Road Atlanta Race ChampCar Officials measured the bore and stroke of the top three finishers. A discrepancy was noted with the stroke of the engine in the JSK Racing car 176.   ChampCar Officials asked the Team Captain about the discrepancy. The Team Captain claimed he had welded and re-ground the crankshaft rod journals to “re-profile” the motor’s stroke. During several additional conversations, ChampCar Officials asked about the impact of the additional stroke on other items in the rotating assembly.
